Irish Ayes first fluke trip since 'storm'
« on: September 08, 2016, 05:18:22 PM »
Made my first trip since the 'storm'. Fished several deep water spots. Had a crew of five and landed four decent fish, biggest was 24" caught by Tom W. My fish today was 21 1/4" (entered in Sept tourney).

Had a hitch hiker with us all day.

He jumped on the motor as we began to move and stayed on until we reached a speed high enough that he couldn't stay on. Hw did manage to stay on the motor when we made re-drifts (moving slowly to get back to our spot) and flew with us when he couldn't stay on the motor. Flew alongside us six miles from out first spot to our second spot. He didn't leave us until we headed to the inlet. That was a first for me.  t^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
