end of ocean fluke season/ 09/17/16
« on: September 18, 2016, 03:59:05 AM »
the a team wanted to give it one more try so we left MI at 6am with every imaginable fluke bait that there is/spent 9 hours from SGR to Monmouth Beach in water ranging from 50 to 90 feet on spots that had great potential on the FF/result was 4 small keepers and a barrage of sea robins and skates and @ 70 gallons of fuel/put a truly mediocre fluke season to bed and will get the Lady ready for stripers this week

Great effort.

Don't give up all hope yet. We were out today on the Klondike and had 5 keepers. Johnny Oz boated a 27 1/2"er that tipped the scale to 8.5 pounds.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
