12/19/16 tog trip.
« on: December 20, 2016, 05:56:42 AM »
Last one of 2016 for me is in the books. Met Fill, Paulie, Eddie, Kevin D, and friends of theirs on the Monger.

Left the dock at 6:30 and headed out in to the frigid 10-15 mph north winds.

It was cold the white leggers were freezing in the bins but we gave it hell all day. The tog never really got chewing, and some of the guys were just to cold to stay at the rail. I think we finished the day with 25 keepers up to 12+ lbs.

I had 5 and lost quite a few more fcp. Always a good time with this crew and its been a good year for me on the fishing grounds.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
