FISHERMEN/Monday Stripers, Tuesdays Fluking Report.

Didn't sail Monday Morning due to the weather but Capt. Dan managed to take out the Monday Night faithful for Striped Bass on the 6:30 pm trip. Several nice fish were caught on fresh bunkers by Atlantic City Jim, Harry, June, Frank & Sal. Nice to see some action for those who keep the faith!!

Weather today (Tuesday) was Crap, once again. The supposed clearing in the afternoon turned into rain for an hour, can't believe I had the heat on in the wheelhouse and it's almost June!  We did manage some keepers with Alex landing the first official limit of 2017 and then some. Everyone went home with dinner but it is certainly not easy fishing right now. Bait is working the best as provin by Alex who switched up from buck-tailing to bait and landed 5 fish on one drift. Water temp at 60 degrees. Not much bait around yet especially in the channels where we had very good fishing last season. Guess the anticipation of that hot bite is making me crazy!!

Weather looks good the next couple of day's....Back at it tomorrow.

CHARTERED THIS COMING SATURDAY MORNING..

NEW AFTERNOON FISHING SCHEDULE FOR 2017: Capt. Dan is fishing the afternoon trips from 3:30pm till 9:00pm for Fluke Tuesday through Sunday.

Monday nights will continue with the Bass fishing for our die hard fishermen who never give up!

When the Porgies show in July we will be doing combo trips Fluke/Porgies on the AFTERNOON TRIPS ONLY!   Fare is $60 on the afternoon trips. Capt. Dan can be reached at 908-930-2335 for daily information.

Thanks for checking in,

Capt. Ron
