6/11 IBSP
« on: June 11, 2017, 05:06:37 PM »
Wasn't supposed to be around this weekend but that changed last minute. Extremely last minute. Wanted to overnight but ran too late to make any bait shop. Had a friend down that way who was killing it through the night. So I set out at 330am got bait at 430 in the park and at the spot by 5. Wasn't much going on around me. I had 1 bluefish on the hook but he spit it out right in the wash. Was kind of bad timing. I was washing my cutting board and knife when the bite hit. Only other catch I saw around me was a big skate. Awesome sunrise though. Hopefully the heat this week will kick up everything in the surf.

I was out for the saturday night tide, stayed till 2330'ish. Nothing to show but a 4' sand shark and a missed hit on mackeral by bird shack.

New to me surf truck,, if ya happen to catch me on beach stop and say hi. We usually 90% of the time hit the evening tides and fish most the night.

I'll keep my eye out. I usually have a red light on the hood of the envoy so people can see it at night. Had dolphins tossing bunker around in the morning.  Thought we were gonna get a nice little blitz until I saw the dorsal lol
