Skip, the trip is $80 for the boat.  They say one of the motels in the area will charge $30 if you are fishing on the Bandit.

The way I figure, leave EARLY in the morning for the ride down, fish the day and have the room for that night.  Leave for home the next day instead of getting up early in the morning to fish, fish all day and look at a three hour drive. 

As far as the trip itself.  If anyone can go, either sign up here and Rod can add whoever signs up to the trip or better yet, call the Bandit and reserve your spot.  It would be good if we can fill the boat with our people.

  I wasn't looking to have the trip rescheduled, rathing I was looking for a clarification on which day you are referring.  You are saying, Saturday, January 6, but actually January 6 is a Sunday.  Which day are you looking to go?  Thanks.

I'd actually prefer a Sunday.

I'd rather drive down Saturday afternoon check into my room, have a nice dinner, hit the grocery store for sandwich material, get to bed early and be fresh to fish on Sunday.

Did that last year and had no trouble driving home Sunday late afternoon/early evening.
