A mostly settled weekend for weather, but mixed for water conditions. The weather will be nice with mostly dry conditions, pleasant temperatures, and lower humidity. Highs will be in the 70’s with lows in the 40’s to 60’s. Water conditions will be good on Saturday and cautious on Sunday. Surf and beach conditions will be good on Saturday and cautious on Sunday will a Low to Moderate Risk of Rip Currents on Saturday and Moderate to High Risk of Rip Currents on Sunday. Water temperatures have increased by a degree or two. UV Index will be High to Very High at 5-7/15.

Canadian high pressure will continue to build into the Northeast through the weekend. Meanwhile, a tropical wave will traverse Florida over the next couple of days and is expected to intensify
as it moves into the Atlantic waters off the Southeast Coast. At this time, the system is expected to move well east of the Mid-Atlantic by midweek. However, this system will require close
monitoring over the next several days. on Monday night with another cold front expected on Tuesday night. High pressure should follow for much of the balance of the work week.

Major Hurricane (Cat 4) Harvey is battering the Texas Coast and will continue to do so well inland for the next several days. There is also an area of invest over Florida that needs to be watched for development along the East Coast.
