A mixed weekend with mostly dry conditions on Saturday and then rain on Sunday with cautious water conditions. Saturday will be mainly dry with fog in the morning, then becoming breezy. Saturday Night will see showers possible turning into rain on Sunday. Highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s with lows in the 60’s. These are above average temperatures with above average humidity. Water conditions will be cautious with winds 20-25 knots and seas 3-6 feet. Surf and beach conditions will also be cautious. Water temperatures are steady in the 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 0-6/15.

A stalled frontal boundary will begin to lift north of the area tonight. A cold front will approach the area over the weekend, but is expected to stall over central Pennsylvania. At the same time, the remnants of Tropical Storm Nate are expected to move northward up the Appalachians. Nate`s remnants are  expected to move across the northern mid-atlantic and southern New England regions between
Sunday night and early Tuesday. Another cold front is then forecast to approach the region Wednesday into Thursday.

The tropics are active again with Tropical Storm Nate and and area of invest out in the Central Eastern Atlantic. Nate will cross the Gulf of Mexico and make landfall on the Gulf Coast this weekend as a weak hurricane. It will move inland and quickly off to the northeast, bringing rain to the area by the end of the weekend.
