GAMBLER-- Fluke Report and Night Report
« on: July 11, 2018, 08:59:31 PM »
The action for fluke on our 1/2 day trips has been slower the last few days. Some good sized fluke and sea bass are coming over the rails but not like it was last week. Saturday morning's seas were rough. We had some faster action in closer to the beach but there were a lot of throw back sized to get a few keepers. Spearing and squid combo for bait have been doing the trick.

Our Nite Wreckin trips continue to do well with mixed sized ling up to 3 lbs. Best to make sure that your hook hangs below your sinker for best results.

The Gambler's "Shark in the Dark" trip this past Sunday resulted in a very big, hard fighting sand-tiger shark that took a good 40 minutes to get to boatside. Many got a turn to fight it and take pictures and it was released to fight again. Exciting fun!

Weather looks good for the rest of this week and weekend. Hope to see you aboard.
