Roosters Flukin 9-6-2018
« on: September 06, 2018, 06:29:48 PM »
HOT! Tom and I waited for the gas dock to open, then headed to Chapel Hill Channel where our drift stared. The tide and light wind took us to the candlesticks and became difficult to hold bottom with 5 OZ lead. Down the beach we went, past the Nude Beach to where water depth close to beach was 20 feet. Down here the reward was all the Sea Robins anyone would want and a few short Fluke, a couple snapper Blues as we watched the schools of Cownose Rays heading North.
Should`t they be heading home? No keeper Fluke today, back in at noon. Pete
