after cancelling plans all week only to have cancelled them for nothing, I set F*&% It and tossed some gear in the truck and went out this morning. Hit the road at 5:15am headed to Manasquan. Only saw a couple guys on the north jetty and no one on the beach. Everyone else was along the railing. Walked out down the dog beach and setup in between 2 other people there. Both of them were tossing metals so I threw an SP minnows, metal lips, shads, and a popper. Not a sniff.
Moved down to Mantoloking bridge for a few casts. Nothing.
Pushed down to seaside park to the piers but looked like much of the same.
Headed home at 11:15.
On a positive note, my waders didn't leak. lol
