Beginner Saltwater Fisher
« on: August 06, 2019, 10:59:18 PM »
I hope someone can help me. I am new to saltwater fishing. I have been mostly pier fishing. I have used some gotcha plugs and a hi lo rig. What other rigs are out there? Any good reference sites or books to help with this? Any info would be great.

wa ... There are a lot of great you tube video's that can help but there is no better info then the local guys who fish the piers. Each rig has a fish or purpose in it's design. Each pier has it's own habitat and fish they attract due to tide, water depth, time of year,ect... ask the sharpie who is fishing the piers you fish as to what you should be using...... Hope that helps as I am a boat fishermen with little time spent on a pier. .....  chrz
