Doha Qatar Jigging
« on: August 16, 2019, 10:03:27 AM »
Here's that video I mentioned in my last post. Had a long layover in Doha and figured I'd spend it trying to catch some fish.

Ended up identifying them as a blackspot snapper and a orange spotted grouper, neither found in the US. However, speaking of Florida fish...since I moved down here 3 years ago I've stuck to the freshwater thing. Love me some peacock bass. But I really miss saltwater fishing which is still my favorite. I'm a little intimidated by all the different fish down here. So many look the same and it's hard to tell them apart. Going to try and fish the saltwater a bit more I figured that's the best way to learn about the fish. That video will be up in a few days.

Yup. Fits right in the backpack and works great. Carried it on everywhere except when leaving Indonesia. Douchey guy wouldn't let me keep it in my carryon claiming I could use the butt of the rod as a club.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
