new boat is home
« on: March 06, 2008, 06:34:49 PM »
well after a long winter my dealer called me today and gave me some great news ,My 22' sea hunt came home today finaly ,it has been a long winter waiting for this day and I am happy to say everything on it is just as I wanted it ,I put a garmin 4208 8" screen gpsfishfinder/gps flush in the dash and I am in love w/ it so far ,I played w/ her for about 20 minutes and it works great and the screen size is just awsome.flounder season can not come soon enough.I went w/ every option on this boat but left the moter where it is ,I was gonna upgrade her until I took a ride on it ,It hits 44 w/ 3 guys and a tank of fuel{91 gallons} and planes out in under 3 seconds I opted for the yellow hull instead of white

thanks for all the kind words and trust me after a couple trips she will look old and dirty .I can not wait to see flounder blood on her it will look nice ,and rod you always have a pass to fish w/ me anytime you want.I am sorry about the dark pics but I was excited to post them.I bought the boat from lighting jacks in brick and it was the best dealership I ever delt w/ this is now my 3rd boat from them and I can honestly say I wouldnt buy from anyone else at this point in my life they are top notch .they offered to deliver my boat to my home wich is 30 miles away from them and then they were early getting it here.

she has a 150 yammi 4 stroke on her ,I was gonna upgrade until I drove her then I had to have it ,It get 4.5 mpg while cruising at 32 mph.if I upgraded to the 200 I would gain 3-4 mph and get around 3 mpg and spend 2G's more for the upgrade so it didnt seem worth it to me ,3 seconds to plane is enough power

Sweet ride! Nice trailer too!  Take more pics because this is the cleanest its ever gonna be. chrz  You will love the big screen gps/sounder combo too.  Be carefull not to scratch the yellow area of the hull around the docks and pilings because the white fiberglass is usually just under the yellow and shows through. Good Luck and have fun with it! chrz
