See- we have another day of warm weather... a little windy, but I'll take it!

Well, considering I had to come home from work at 9:30 this morning to meet the cops and fire dept. because my neighbor's metal framed boat enclosure flew into my house and car, I'd say it was more than a little windy!  rgmn

That's terrible news!

Maybe we should contact the weather channel and let them know taht there is a new catagory for wind velocity forecasts-

"neighbor's metal framed boat enclosures will fly into your house and car"

That might be better than "Blowing the dog off the chain"

HA!

Now that sucks Bob. I hope there wasn't too much damage.

Not too bad Joe.  Thanks for your concern.

It hit the house just as my wife was getting ready to bring my daughter to school.  She called me at work because this huge structure was blocking the front door and she saw the lines that were running to the house were down.  I told her to stay inside and call the police (which she did).  Fortunately the only lines that got ripped down were old telephone lines.  The power lines were OK.

The worst part was that it completely tore the cupola off the roof, which (of course) left a nice hole up there.  nosmly

Also had some other damage to the roof and also to the roof of my wife's car.  Fortunately everyone was safe! t^

Thanks Paul.  He does have insurance.  He's a good guy too, so I'm sure it will all be tasken care of.

I could have used your help today when I was trying to cover up that hole in the roof while the wind gusted to 60.  I must have been a sight!  Let's just say I'm not the most agile guy on a ladder or on a roof! ;D
