Luna Sea, 1st Report for 2008

Met Uncle Luna at the boat along with my brother and a few friends.  On the boat by 3:30pm with just a half bushel of clams.  Just wanted to go for a test ride and kill some time, so the fishing wasn't the total target.

Left AH into very stiff winds and choppy water. Anchored off the beach in 10 feet of water right before the keansburg Pier. 

1st striper was a short caught on a diamond jig.  2 Keepers on clams.  3 total for a very short evening. We were only out for a couple of hours, so all for all not too bad of a day.  As warm as it was at home, it was COLD out on the water. 

OH, Almost Forgot.. Kudos for Uncle Luna for landing one of the keepers..  chrz

Was nice to land my first striper of the season . or for last season LOL.  
Really nice to test my new Abu Garcia 5600D6 reel really smooth casting. Can't wait to get out again.

Made the striper baked with my new Uncle Luna Sauce it was delicious  :'(
