Sounds good, as long as all your paperwork is in order.  Feds have their own laws (3 miles out constitute federal waters) but it sounds like you should be within their laws also.  I don't think the federal laws are as restrictive as New Jersey's.

IrishAyes, thanks again and I understand that this is not legal advice, i have had this conversation with others and all feel it is OK in the interpretation, but every situation is different, anyway the intent is to be safe and able to dispatch the right fish when the time comes! Hopefully it will!!!!!!! see you on the water!
