6-5 GREAT report
« on: June 06, 2008, 05:24:33 PM »
Left the AH marina around 4;30p sangged and netted some bunkers which were real thick outside the jetty and headed straight out to  my SPOT. Saw some birds working close by and headed over. Not many bird but enough to make us courious. Saw some plashing and fins and hope for bass and bass it was. We used top water plugs for a couple of hours drifting next to the birds. We boated close to 30 fish, most were keepers up to 18 lbs. We live lined a few bunkers with results also but not as much as I would have liked since the 2 guys with me are mostly surf fishermen and they were having a blast with the plugs. After it started getting dark we drifted heads around and I boated 2 more fish. Only 1 other boat came near and I tried to hail him to tell him what we were using but he slowly left?? Maybe he didnt think there was bass in there just blues?
What a great night. My last 2 trips out have cancelled out the 2 skunkings I had before them.
Here is some porn.

I had to leave out a few pics that would have put people right on. If you want to know the area any more than the pics just shoot me a message.
