LS3 - JCAA Official Report & Recap
« on: June 15, 2008, 09:35:36 PM »
Ok, I finally got time to recap the report.  Fishing was very difficult.  Trying to get through the short to the keepers were difficult.  I am sure we missed some keepers due to using very large bait in hopes for that winning fish.  Skates were massive is size, lost a few spro's to the bluefish also.

BUT..  Catching or not, I had a blast.  Rod is hilarious, busting everyones chops, especially uncle Luna.

Rod did manage to get BriJones1's entire life story, and still wonders why Brian doesn't get proofed for alcohol.

Skol jigged all day to tired arms.

Rod couldn't believe the crowd on the nude beach.  Then when finally saw a HOTTIE.. He had no choice to give her a wave.. 3 times, and she waved back 3 times... Rod was like.. look at the one in the black.. I said, ROD.. What black, there all naked.. He said, I meant her hair..

Uncle Luna. When you have to go, you have to go.  Improvise, even with 5 guys on the boat. The aim couldn't be better even if he tried doing it on purpose.. right smack into Catfish's boat.. OOPS..

Brian.. using junk bait to catch junk fish. The daisy chain of Killies.. And Rod making fun of his custom jigs.. Those Jigs must have scared all the fluke away.

Rod must be bad luck... The 2 worse trips I had all season was when I was with Rod.. Not to worry Rod, you can come again..

It was a ton of laughs and good times.. And I can't wait to do it again.

Got the chance to meet Catfish and Flukedood, it was a pleasure..

Catfish, you got a nice ride there... Nice color hull as well.  You also know how to find the fish, even on a very slow day for most.  Good catch and keep up the good work.

AJ.. Thanks for the De-hooker.. You didn't have to...  I know you got one for yourself also.. You had to..

All for All.. great day on the water.. I hope to see most of you guys at the award ceremony next Friday nite.  Then afterwards... THE WAVE.. good bar with Band.. even for the old timers like Rod and Uncle Luna will like it..

Take care and Happy Fathers Day to all.

Ps.. Got confirmation the other day from the doctor that my next child is due around January 30th.  That will be 3 in less then 3 years.. OUCH..

Nice report Nick. It sounds like you guys had a blast on the water. That is what makes a fishing trip, more so than the catching.

Congrats on the upcoming event.

Sounds like we all up north had the same experience.  You passed me going south about 1pm, called you on the radio, 68, but at speed it is hard to hear.  I was catching along the beach but only one keeper.  Good luck on the next tournament.

Hey Nick. It was good to see you out on the water again, and as always, the boat looks sweet in the water. Didn't know you had Skol with you as well. Super nice guy.

I think I was into the 10th place fish when I had you on the phone so sorry for the garbled sentence.  ;D

Did I just read right...3 kids in 3 years? When do you squeeze in enough time to fish!  TT^

See you on the water.
