Pretty cool. My wife and I were out that same day in those conditions. We kept hearing spouting in the distance. But didn't see anything but fog. Did see a bunch of small squid on the surface. 1 seaturtle and 7 short fluke. Covered from Manasquan to Asbury. From 40-60 feet of water. Going south Friday!!!!!!

Too funny!!! Was the Sea Turtle just a little guy? If so he swam right by us too. We also saw many small squid...and alot of debris.

We were a mile and a half to two miles out. Not far at all. I have seen whale right at the inlet, so you don't have to be far from the beach for them to be there.  t^

Yeah, I've seen them breaching within a couple of casts from the shore!  Absolutely amazing! ;D
