Something differant for Ryan and I today...
« on: July 30, 2008, 09:44:05 AM »
0ffShoreRy@n and BrickKen decide to do a differant type of canyon trip today. We are leaving at 2PM for a 30 hour trip. The something differant is we aren't taking the Taylor Vee. Instead we booked ourselves onto the Canyon Runner Viking 48 "on water seminar".

For 30 hours we will see exactly how these guys fish, set up their rigs, what types of dragging spreads they set out, what changes they make to the spread when it's not producing. What they might be doing differant on the chunk etc.

Most charters the crew does all the work and hand you a line with a fish on. Here they don't do anything but coach. You do the gaffing the leadering etc.

We are looking forward to see canyon running from the canyon runners perspective. We'll be returning about 9PM tomorrow and we'll post the results on Friday.

A do-it-yourself trip! What a blast that will be. No matter how experienced you are, you can always learn something. Your trip sounds like it will be a fine learing experience.

Take pics (if allowed). Looking forward to your report.  t^
