Ok, here is my rig:

Use either a 4-5-6/0 cirle hook, 36" Floro Carbon Leader 30-40 lb test and a 75 lb swivel, two small zip ties and a snap.

I poke a hole through the bunkers nostril area and hook in the snap. hook is fully exposed and if the fish takes the bunker it is always a hook up. TT^

Hope this helps, has worked for me over the years........I usually tie 40-50 rigs prior t season

i've seen something like that.  I like the old traditional way... Big 10/0 Gammi in the lip out the nostril..

I like to use 7/0 or 8/0 red offset live bait hooks from either gamakatsu or mustad. they are super strong, sharp, and durable.  Furthermore, the red color seems to help. Black is good too if you can't find red.
