Met Tony & Richie at 7:15 pm in Union Beach Thurs night.Loaded Tony's truck with all our gear & off we went.We arrived in Montauk at 10:30 pm.The manager at the Blue Haven Motel left us the key due to our late check in.Tony opens the door of the room and there is no electric  >:(  Tony calls the emergency # that is listed on the Motel office door & 10 minutes later we had electric. We all go back to Tony's truck & start un packing the truck.Once all our gear was out of Tony's truck the Laughing started  rofla Tony says do not put your shoes under the beds the bugs are under there.Where are Richies shoes under the bed  ;D Tony also says do not hang your jackets up in the closet there are spiders.Where is Richie's jackets hanging in the closet  ;D Man we laughed so hard for an hr.Richie set's his alarm clock for 3:45 am. Tony shuts the light off next to his bed.Richie is alomst out cold. And Tony says Richie shut the fan light  ;D We were all laughing because Richie was tucked in  rofla At 3:45 we were all up.We left the Blue Haven and drove all around town looking for a place to buy coffee. No such luck.Every place we stopped at the sign's on the door said open at 5:30.We waited it out & at 5:30 we got our coffee & Breakfast. At 5:45 am we meet up with Anthony,Anthony Jr,Vincent.Tony could not figure out why Anthony had all his rods & reels in his truck when we were all going on Anthony's 31 ft Tiara.Knowing Anthony was staying on his boat the night before & my quick thinking I said to Tony with all the rods Anthony has in his cabin they would have no room to sleep. So I am sure Anthony put all his gear in a boat locker  ;D Anthony says guys follow me.We follow Anthony to Montauk Marine & I now start telling Tony that we are not going on Anthony's boat.I said Anthony emailed me this morning and wrote that he really had not fished much & wanted to enjoy the day so we were going on his Friend Capt Scott Schafer 36 ft Runway.

The Boat

Anthony whispers in my ear that the boats that Tog fished on Thurs crushed them that we were going togging 1st.

I mention this to Tony & let me tell you the guy got a *****

oh never mind   rofla

We put all our gear on Capt Scott Schafer's 50/50 and Capt Scott took us 15 miles to the 1st rock pile.Within minutes of the anchor set.Richie was hooked up.For the next 5 hrs we caught Tog.At 12 noon we had 22 keeper Tog up to 8 lbs.in the box.Capt Scott now says we are going Bass fishing.Capt Scott takes us to the Lighthouse & he spotted some diving Birds & it was game on.We jigged up some Bass & Blues.Capt Scott moved from School to school and we did catch fish but based on what his Fish finder screen looked liked we should have caught more.Capt Scott kept us out and started asking us what we wanted to do.We all decided to stick with jigging & we picked at the fish.At 5 pm Capt Scott asks us if we wanted to eel.At that time we were all tired and wanted to get back in.At 5:30 pm we got back to the dock and took all our gear off of the 50/50 and Capt Scott cleaned our catch. When Capt Scott was done cleaning the catch he bagged up our fillets and came over to us & said guys thanks for fishing with me.

At 6:45 pm we said goodbye to Capt Scott & Anthony & his 2 sons.

Tony,Richie,& myself went back to the Blue Haven and showered & changed and went to West Lake for a great dinner. At 10:30 pm the 3 of us passed out.

Sat morning we woke up and the wind was honking & once again no electric  >:( We went to John's Pancake house for Breakfast & after we were done we took a ride to the point.Tony parked his truck and we walked over to watch the surf casters bail fish.Between the surf casters & all the blitzing fish Richie & Tony were nuts.Knowing none of us had corkers and the area was loaded with Rocks I suggested we move to Turtle cove.We all went back to Tony's truck & Richie & Tony put on there waders & I put on my boots. We walked a path to turtle cove and Richie 1st cast he landed a Bluefish on a popper.Tony went back to his truck to get his aqua skinz Jacket.Tony comes back & casts out & he hooks up.

I cast out & got soaked   rofla

For the next hr or so Richie & Tony caught Bluefish and I sat on a rock so I could dry out.

Man my boots had so much water in them that I could have filled 2 5 gallon pails  hhppy

At 12:30 pm we went into Town & went to the bakery for treats & coffee and picked up some Montauk Tees.

Knowing the weather was going to go downhill we decided to head home on Sat afternoon instead of Sun.

We all had a great time with lots of laughs !!

Below are some pics but Tony & Richie have alot more.
