beach and boat fishing
« on: October 29, 2008, 05:04:54 AM »
Hey everybody
I have been fishing from the beach from Sea Girt to sea Seaside with great success. Clams have worked the best up till yesterday{Tuesday}I fished south end of Sea Girt and the clams did not produce but a point Jude with a green bucktail the the hot lure. fished from 7:30 to 10:00 with nothing but bass {lost count at 30}I managed 1 keeper 34 inch's. Looks like we will have a great fall bass run as we did in the spring.

good luck and tight lines to all

Welcome Aboard No Issue,

Thanks for the report and I hope to see you posting a lot as the run definitely looks good for this year.

My fishing grounds are usually from Lavallette to the North jetty on IBSP.  I am very interested in your reports as the Fall run goes from the north south this time of year it certainly looks like they are heading my way for sure.

If we can help you in any way do not hesitate to ask as there are a lot of great people on here with tons of information.  My strong point would be the surf with some boat info thrown in.

Again Welcome Aboard.

Happy Catching

Paul

Thanks for the report, and welcome to the site. I love this time of the year, from the fall run of Striped Bass & Big Blues, then on to fat Togs.  TT^  <'((((><

The bass were probably feeding on sand eels that's why the Point Judes produced.
