friend wanted to hit the pier so I met up with him in the morning. not a touch all morning. Broke out the binoculars and watch the fleet dance in the distance. had a good bite around noon while I was reeling in my clam to check it but couldn't connect. A little while after that, a few rods got bent but same thing. Set out a bunker chunk to soak while I tossed some lures. Rod bent and line pulled off the reel but whatever it was spit it out just as soon as I got to the rod. Seen a total of 3 bluefish and no stripers while we were there. IBSP next weekend
