Albermarle Sound N.Carolina, Thanksgiving 2012
« on: November 27, 2012, 07:09:26 PM »
While visiting my parents this Thanksgiving weekend we got a little fishing in. They live on canal front property in Camden N.C. The water is brackish so they have a mix of species in the area. Fishing was a bit slow this past weekend. My brother John and I pulled a couple of Largemouth Bass out of the canal, The lure I used is in the picture . We usually get bass,Catfish,Bluegills, and Gar. My dad and I took his Parker 18'cc out in the Albemarle sound which is a few minutes from the canal and only trolled up 1 12" Striper on a small fire tiger, The smallest striper I ever caught hhppy.
We did not get much fishing in at all but when I had a free moment I walked down to the canal and cast for awhile. It was a good time as always.  chrz

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
