Hello All!...Name here is Tim. My friend (Tom, New to the site as well) got me hooked (pun intended) on surf fishing. Although we had a blast the first time catching dog fish......we continue to get out there. A guy a work with (bucktail Bob) turned me onto the site and fisxed me up on a trip with Captin Joe on the Irish Ayes. WE Joe got me my first Blue fish and I got to loose Bobs nice lure...and didnt even have to pay for it! I am full of questions on this sport. I can catch the crap out of freah water fish...just need to put my time in the salt water and hopefully get some god tips from ya'll to say that about the ocean!!

Thanks Bob! Looking forward to meeting a few guys on the Tog fish trip on the 20th! I snagged one in the jaw once and it was about 4 inches long!! Got a ton of bites at the Barnget light...but caught nothing but snaggs...but a got to watch a guy yank them in left and right 20 feet from us!! If my buddy and I didnt leave then we may have tossed the guy in the water!!

Hey Tim. Welcome to the site. You will find a lot of knowledgeable guys here all willing to share.
You are always welcome back on the Irish Ayes.
BTW, nice avatar. Where did you get that pic done. ;D

I picked the one with a plug for you!!! Got to keep the captin happy!!! Thanks for the offer...I will be taking you up on it!! My buddy Tom is coming on the tog trip on the 20th..I have to introduce him to you guys. He's green like me, but a great guy that loves to fish!! If he had that blue on the end of the line he would have had a smile on his face just as big as mine!! Thanks again Joe!! Trip that I will never forget!! I promise I won't bring a tackle box on as heavy as Bob next time!! If I do I will bring a dingy to put it in!!

Welcome to NJSWF Tim. There may be older sites. There may be bigger sites. But you won't find a better bunch of guys than the guys right here. I'm sure you'll fit right in. t^

Thanks Bob...My buddy (Tom) and I got on the tog trip on the 20th!! Looking forward to loosing more of your jigs and making the bag lighter for the Irish Ayes!! Not to mention catching some tog fish or getting ticked off at them!! Either way should be a great time. If you can give me some suggestions for a rod reel combo for the trip that would be great. I would like to tie up some rigs before then and get a good rod reel combo for the trip too. Thanks again for all the help! ;D

Have you tried Cabela's? ;D
