PPB Surf Rpt 8/6-8/8
« on: August 09, 2010, 10:15:05 AM »
Fished the mornings on the south end. Fluke remains slow action, caught 8, all shorts on white bucktail and white gulp.  On Friday, the beach was loaded with shad, so I changed over from fluke to shad just for some fun; steady shad action on darts for about an hour, all released.  Sunday was a different story, water much warmer, surf was rough, just two sea robins on metal.  Can't wait for the fall.
