Anyone fishing for herring?

I read that the herring are all over in manasquan inlet. Anyone giving them a try?

I haven't fished for anything in over a month.  It will probably be at least mid-February before I get out again.

If you head over there, I wish you luck!   Catch one for me.

Haven't given them any thought because I am still catching Bass.  Shorts, but they are still bass.

Paul... will have bass into the new year tons of bait moved in last week.... and if the herring are around thats all the better....

I have to agree.  I was out yesterday and felt strange to see no one at all on the beach.  Maybe the fog scared everyone away...

I will finally get some time to fish after the new year (cutting back from my 90 hour work week) and the forums have been deserted.  maybe I will wake up and give the schoolies a shot next week

Looks like that day will be friday if anyone would like to meet up
