Title: FISHERMEN/Fridays Fishing Report....
Post by: 1captainron on August 22, 2014, 03:42:05 PM
Like I said a couple days ago...the next few days were gonna be Tough with the East wind and outgoing tide.
Light crowd today, even with a couple boats that didn't sail. Caught some nice fish first thing in the AM on the change of tide. Pool Fish made 7.2 pounds with a couple others in the 3 to 5 pound range. Some good short action but once the current started to run the bite went to hell.
Couple young men fishing for the first time with their dad, stayed at the rail all day and landed 3 nice fish.....Great job guys!

The roll and colder water didn't help us either. Fished several area's, power drifted and did what we had to do with not much success. After the passed couple weeks, it's tough taking one on the chin!!!

Will still give it hell tomorrow for sure.
Capt. Ron
