Fished with Anthony, Charlie and Chuck. Left SRI @ 3:45am and headed out into 2 to 4 ft seas...some leftover winds/seas from late Thursday. Very tight weather window.
Not a bad ride out in the dark...got set up well offshore and started fishing @ 7:30 am.
Very tough anchoring conditions...hard current from the Full Moon. Wind against the tide. Had to reset 4x times.
Good codfishing (size wise)...boated 14 cod...including a 20, 22, 26, 27 and a 37lber! Anthony caught the 37lber. Nice fish!
Headed back in flat calm seas...saw a lot of bunker pods and birds were working off the inlet. Stripers should get good soon.
Great weather, fishing and some very good eats!
