clp clp clp Another great NJSWF trip. Thanks to all involved for the hard work putting this great day together. Team Reel McCoy managed to take some filets home for dinner so all is well. We managed to land a dogfish, large skate, dozens of bergals, a nice ling, two keepers and about 16 shorts.
Waiting to see the pictures.

Great time as always food, fish, and funk is the recipe for a good day. The tog came over the rail several times for me but wound up with ALOT of just shorts. Thanks to everyone who made this happen slt
-
I know it's been said numerous times but thanks again Trish for catering the trip today. Food was on the money, msfsh. And to everyone else involved with making it happen.
5 more months to our annual dinner See you all soon, it will be here before we know it.
-
So apparently my sleep deprivation and "Comfort" took hold before I submitted last night nts, thus no post last night! Great time yesterday meeting more members and faces to names. Trish, awesome job with the food and your time to make things as many have said. For all involved in pulling the trip together, great job, I know it's a daunting task at times, greatly appreciated and look forward to other chances to get back out there with the site members.
-
Sounds like a great time!
Trish....u are the best caterer I know!.....and a pretty good fisherwoman to boot! t^
-
grtn Gooooooooood Morning Family!!! grtn WOW! What a day yesterday! As always, I giggled and smiled all day long! What more could this girl ask for then to spend the entire day with guys like you!!! Ok Ok maybe a keeper seeing as the 5 shorts I got just didn't cut it but Mark was super nice in giving me his keeper to make for mom and I!
THANKS MARK! msfsh
You're all very welcome for the goodies! It truly is my pleasure to take care of you guys and I'm happy everything turned out ok! Always know that I am open to suggestions on what you guys like or what you want me to make. Seeing as everything was pretty much gone by the end of the trip, I guess I did ok this time around. t^ So with no further a-due (I don't know how to spell that word a-due 5hrug) here are all the photos I took! My apologies I didn't post them last night. Even though I am a trooper and can stick it out with the best, I was just beat up by the time I got home. All I wanted was my TV remote and my bed! LOL Thank you all for letting me in and accepting me for me! Love ya's! :-* Trish msfsh

Some more.... ;D

First, I would like to thank all those responsible for putting this together. I know it’s a lot of work, time and frustration so it is much appreciated. Jake and I had a great time. It was great seeing folks I haven’t seen in a while and I caught some fish too. I would like to make a few observations from yesterdays trip.
1)NJBob actually a kind, sensitive, caring person and really loved by the mates.
2)Big Al’s brother wears girl socks.
3) A plate of Jumbo Shrimp place in front of me doesn’t last long.
4)Kenny can eat a whole cupcake in one bite – I saw it with my own eyes, twice.
5)Trish’s cupcakes are moist and delicious.
6)I can’t speak for the TEC’s but Trish’s PEC were great too.
7)Treebeard not only doesn’t mind when you grab his ass, he likes it,
8)Yes the square end of the board is much warmer then the pointy end, but the real men hang in the pointy end.
9)You can put lots of crab parts and bergals down the back of Jakes bibs and it doesn’t slow him down from fishing – only food does.
10) What the heck was second place?
-
YES there are still MORE hhppy
-
Stillllll going....Can ya tell I like to take pictures! Hey I gotta make sure I get everyone!! Hopefully I did!
-
Last one...... clp thanks again to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU for making this trip one to remember!!! Love ya's!!
WHEN IS THE NEXT TRIP!!! LET'S FISH!!!

Another grand adventure with this fine bunch.. hard to expand on whats been said, other than to say my face still hurts from smiling/laughing so much.. Thanks to all the guys who worked to put it together.. slt and especially to our lovely and talented caterer for all the great food, and for recording the trip for posterity with the pics.. I'm ready for the next one! msfsh msfsh chrz chrz

Received a call from Johhny Oz this morning. As much as he wanted to post on his winnings he was unable to do so due to computer difficulties (he needs one that works and is more user friendly (http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/_950/lamer.gif)).
Anyway...John wanted to extend his sincere thanks to everyone who made this trip possible. He is ecstatic (http://smilies.sofrayt.com/^/aiw/yahoo.gif) about his winning the custom rod and Canyon reel, fully loaded with backing and 300 yards of 50# power pro line. He wanted to thank Phil for his excellent job in creating this quality product saying he finally got a good look at it today (using his much needed glasses to really see what's happening around him) and was highly impressed with the quality and thought that went into making this fine addition to his arsenal (yes, Johnny brings 4-5 rods aboard the Irish Ayes every trip nosmly) (note to self...next year we go the airline rule, 1 carry on, anything extra $25 an item. Just think, with that, I could retire. Oh yea, I am retired ;D).
I would like to thank Kenny for his tireless effort in putting this trip together. I was behind the scenes and know exactly what Kenny was dealing with in lining everything up to make for a perfect outcome.
Myself, I had a fabulous trip even though I only managed to catch one short, and that was after I stole Bucktail Bob's rod-n-reel after I broke off yet another rig to the bottom.
And I can't forget the food, of which I partook (is that even a word?) in several times throughout the day, great catering service. We MUST use the same caterer for future trips. t^
Kudos to all who attended, the captain and crew of the Sea Horse and those tireless workers who made this happen. (http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/g0/claps.gif)

It looks like I missed another great njswf pro staff event. I vote for sunday next year?
-
For those not on board interested in a fishing report the bite was slow and never really turned on and they never really got chewing.
Tough current and just a pick of shorts and some keepers all around the boat.
Pool fish was about 7 lbs and some had 4 down to none.
Seemed that they did prefer whites yesterday.
As far as the trip....what more can I say that already hasn't.
Had a blast fishing with some old friends and meeting some new.
Too many laughs and shenanigans as always.
Congrats to Reefsquater on the pool fish and to Johnny Qz on that new sweet stick.
Thanks to:
Kenny, Joe, and Bob for all the hard work on putting this together and the reel for the rod. clp
Trish for the food spread and photos. clp
Wreckfish for the sweet rod. clp
Uncle Luna for the doughnuts clp
Capt Jack for the raw bar treats. clp
Eddie for hooking me up with the "Kansas City Tog Rig" TT^
And special thanks to NJBob for the voodoo doll...I think it worked :P only had 3 keeps and didn't win anything cfzd
Missed the full moon and can't wait to see the Belmar Rig video Skip. rofla

Looks like I'm the last one getting on here…
Fell asleep in a chair last night…then slept in this morning…Up..quick shower and off to my Daughters Shiai ( A karate exposition and party afterwards..
Well we did it again !! Our 5th Annual Blackfish was a huge success !!
So much has already been said..so I'll try to keep it short and sweet..
Special Thanks go out to:
Jack Bevins and the Sea Horse for hosting this years trip…The raw bar was a big surprise and much appreciated Jack !! Thanks again !!
Trish our on staff caterer…Just a tremendous job on the food right down to the little fish on the cup cakes…You went above and beyond girl in your continued efforts to spoil us rotten !!!
Phil, You crafted another beauty of a Rod for us this year many thanks !!
Don at Canyon reels for providing a sweet reel to complete the combo.
Have to thank my partners in crime, Bob and Joe for all there help and support in putting this trip together…Couldn’t do it without them !
And to the rest,
We could not have gone out with a better more fun loving crew yesterday, The laughs seemed endless all day….
Anyone can hire a boat for a day of fishing but it’s the people that go who are the ones that make the party !!!!
Congrats go out to:
Johnny Oz on winning the rod/reel !! ( I’m still so jealous )
Reefsquater for the big money fish of the day…

Kenny, hats off to you for pulling this together for the site and it's members. slt clp. Really don't know if everyone could understand how much work it does take to get a trip like this in place and try to please everyone! First Class job to you and those supporting you to accomplish it... t^
-
Like I said on the boat, I would take a trip to a ping pong tournament with this crew as they are a fun bunch. Glad to have the pool winner choose my bait, especially with the boys up front working so hard in the freezing conditions while we basked in the sun listening to the funk.
Highlites were: "I almost had a bite"- Irsih eyes and Paule catching a tog with his bobber rig.
-
Looks like you guys had a great trip. Got to get in on the next one.
-
Some things I found in my pockets and bucket today. cfzd

I have done these a few times for work. What a pain in the ass... It is well worth it when everyone has a good time though.. I have no doubt that the members here put together a great trip even if the fishing isn't that good

I concur with everyone's comments... Especially the impaired eyesight after seeing Skip's full moon. I think that's what put us on the GSP North instead of South on the way home....
Great trip guys! Thanks to everyone who organized or chipped in to make it a great time.

NJSWF Members,
First I would like to thank all of you for your patronage on Saturday's trip. I was really looking forward to running the boat and fishing with the group however I have been a little under the weather to say the least. I'm glad the group had a good time and caught some fish. Hopefully I will be given the opportunity to host the trip next year.
On another note I would like to thank everyone personally for the positive & negative feedback. It all counts in my book because without customers I would not be in business.
P.S. I have a bucket of special tackle if anyone is interested and also there are plenty of Yeungling's left after tasting one!

Thanks Jack t^

Enjoy the Yeungling Jack, they say alcohol kills germs, so it's good for you. chrz
