Father & Sons Score on The Flatties
« on: June 23, 2010, 08:42:14 PM »
Had Phil aka "Country" aboard today. Broke the inlet by 0515hrs...a tad later then I wanted but no prob. Head north. Trying for the striped one. Find bunker right away. Make pieces for the livewell. Start livelining at deal. Nothing happening but 1 run off :-\. Head further north. Find several pods of bunker throughout morning but nothing under them.

We Change over to the flatties. At the RC. We get close to the beach (i mean close) and drift out. Bang, bang, bang....pulling fluke on just about every drop. (using the 4" gulp swimming mullet as a teaser and bouncing the fluke balls off the bottom ;)). Stopped counting on how many we caught. However, only 5 were keepers. 1 @ 22.5", 1 @ 20.5", 2 @ 19" and 1 @ 18.5". TT^

All in all, it was a great day on the water with action. That's all I can ask for t^

Sorry guys I have no pix cause the last known whereabouts of my camera is my 5 year old son had it  ???

Great job!
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
