Title: Manasquan Fluking 8/18
Post by: ChrisL on August 22, 2016, 10:57:41 AM
Had my buddy Ken out with me on Thursday hunting for the flat ones in the river.
Started early and fished for a solid 7 hours.  Had to move around a lot as the tide changed to stay in moving water.
Finished the day with 70 fish in the boat and 3 met the height requirement to ride home in the cooler.  We had fish ranging from palm size to 18.5in.  Quite a few were just a wee bit shy of 18.  So much so that Ken questioned if my measuring board was accurate.
It's always a good time when we fish together and we almost always do well.

Great action. It would be nice to have a left handed fish stretcher on board, but of course they are against NMFS regulations.
