Sunday Togging on the Atlantic Star in Wildwood
« on: November 22, 2010, 07:35:17 AM »
I wasn’t able to make the Islander tog trip cause I had to be in Cape May for the weekend so my buddy on I jump on the Atlantic Star out of Wildwood on Sunday for a little togging.  Nice day and nice boat.  We had 5 keepers each plus lots and lots of throw back.  Nothing really big – the keepers were 15 ~ 17 inchers.  Mainly caught on greenies but by buddy also caught a few on clam. My hookup ratio improve when I downsized my hook to a 1/0 Gama from a 3/0.   The captain gives you your monies worth. We were out to almost 5.  I also ran into Capt Birch from FishGuts Charter fame doing some togging along with his dad.  Nice day, good crew and captain and comfortable boat.
