Tom and I started our fishing venture at the breakwater at Atlantic Highlands Harbor finding a few short Fluke. Made a move to #2 Can Shrewsbury Channel where it was drop and reel short Fluke, got tired of that quick and out to the ocean we went. Starting at #11 Sandy Hook Channel the outgoing tide took us for miles down the beach and out in the ocean about two miles from shore. All along we picked at shorts, Sea Robins, doggies, Clear Nose Skates and two keeper Fluke at 18” and 20” for me. Nice breeze today and did not need to start boat until we headed back in at noon. Many Killies in the traps today. Pete

Good sized killies have been easy to come by ,just need some nice sized fluke to chew them .
