Donations to the Save the Summer Flounder Fisheries Fund
« on: January 08, 2008, 10:37:23 AM »
Have been speaking with Rod abut making a donation to the SSFFF, a good cause and it will help get the site more reccognition. All supporters are listed n the site and then Rod can also add the supporters logo to our site. TT^

Most of the major players in the fishing industry are behind this mvement.

I volunteered to be the focal point. If you need info about the organizatin go to www.ssfff.net

Should you feel compelled to help us help you,   a check made out to the SSFFF, and mail it to:

Sandy Hook Fishing Adventures 160 Main St Port Monmouth, NJ 07758

They will then be forwarded in a grup to the fund on behaf of NJSWF

I am getting the ball rolling by donating $50 on behalf of the site. t^

Should you have questions Iwill be away from Jan 9-14th, but will gladly answer them when i get back. Would like to submit the donations by Jan 20th slt

I was going to ask Rod about this same thing.  My only concern with donating to ANYBODY at this time is the fact that there are several factions out there who are TRYING to do the same thing.  I would like to see all of them form as one group for the betterment of fishing, not several splinter groups with very limited capability to actually get something done because of their small size and small voice.  Don't get me wrong, I commend them for the things that they have accomplished so far.  But, if they were all united under one umbrella just think of the power we would have.

Yea.  This a good Cause and a great group of Charters and clubs alike t^

It would be nice to send a Donation in the sites name.  Thanks Bob t^  So if you ever wanted to donate to this site...this would be a suitable cause IMO t^

Let us know where to send a check and made out to who,  then in a few weeks you can send it to them I guess..  Right?

I know that Bob.  No one want to give up their 'leadership, fiefdom' or what ever you want to call it.  That is the problem that I have.  Donate money here, donate money there, spread it all out and it is meaningless.  You might as well toss it down the crapper.

And don't think our enemies don't know this is how things are.  As long as we are seperated from ourselves, we can not do battle against others.  Such a shame everyone needs to be the chief and can't step back and manage things as one group.

Just got back from my Alabama hunting trip, good time was has by all. Upon checking this Post, my mail/email and PM's I was sadly surprised by zero responce.

My purpose of this posting was two fold, the first was to generate support for an organization of people/Business that are united to save our sport.

The second was to help get the name of this site out as a true voice and force in the fishing venue.

I had volunteered to be the focal point, not to tout myself but to make things easier for those who put so much work into the site.

But as I can see there is no interest in either cause.

I will take the $50.00 I was going to donate to the SSFFF on behalf of the site and donate it on behalf of my family to go along with my previous business donation.

By the lack of support I trust I will not be seeing any postings whining and crying about the upcoming Fluke regulations, as there is generally no or very little postings about any serious issue compared to the postings of non-effecting issues of our sport.

SSFFF is the one organization I would have no qualms sending a few bucks to.  I've spoken with quite a few of the guys behind it.  It's a great group!  I can't wait for the rally on Monday.

Thanks for the greetings. chrz

The meeting MAY be in Brooklawn NJ.

Which is about one mile south of the base of the Walt Whitman bridge. This will be fairly convenient for all the Pa., Del. and South Jersey guys to get to.

I'm just waiting on approval from the SSFFF Board.

I will keep you all posted.
