Reel McCoy II Sunday 9/30 report
« on: September 30, 2012, 06:42:49 PM »
Pushed off at 0645 and went straight to the tip of the hook where I threw a small jig and a teaser around the birds working the area.  Had non-stop action with cocktail blues and hickory shad.  Double headers of shad were common.  Caught and released over 40 fish in an hour and a half.   Switched to drifting eels in SH channel when the tide started to run out without any success.  Had one good pickup but I was not able to hook him.  Headed back to the barn about 1130.
