I owe you one reckless, that really saved my butt, if any one has an older Yamaha and breaks a shaft, this guy Tim shiftshaft.com came up with this product that saved me a lot of money $240 he will walk you through it,Im just a driveway mechanic it only took 1 day, I broke the bracket. but you can get any part you need at marinepartsplus.com (your the man  reckless)
