Went out of Little Egg Inlet this morning and hit the open ocean at about 5:15. Drifted theFish Haven wreck four or five times and anchore on the edge aswell. Only pulled up some real tiny sea robin, short black seabass, and a few short flukes. Came back inside and tooled around the inlet a little bit. got a few decent sized skates..and then brought up the monster fluke.
Had a white and glittered bucktail on a light tackle pole (fluke basically bent it in half) with a strip of scented squid and piece of mackerel.
First ever door mat, biggest fish of my life.
