LBI surf today

got a late start, hit the beach about 8am. fished fresh clams. caught 5 nice bluefish, 2 skates(1 huge), and that's it. fished until 3pm. water was clear, wind at our backs, was a nice day. opened up the belly of one of the blues, lotsa eels in it, some mullet, etc...

Not a bad day.  I wish I had a pole in hand today.  We went apple picking in the AM and then to an anniversary dinner (our 33rd).

is it wrong for me to want to go fishing on wednesday, even though my five year old son wants to go trick-or-treating?   i mean, geez, he can get candy anywhere, anytime, right? rofla

Bring him to Toms River on Tuesday, we have Trick or Treat here then.  Mischief night is tonight.  All is changed here because of the huge parade on Halloween night itself.
