After meeting Capt. Anthony in the spring on one of his flounder trips, I knew I wanted to fish with him again! So, I gathered up a group friends and family and booked a full charter with Capt. Anthony and today we sailed. After a few technical difficulties at the dock we were soon on our way!
We left the inlet and headed north! Dropped the lines and immediately were on fish, which basically lasted all day! A friendly competition broke out between 2 - three man teams and it was on! It was back and forth all day with Capt. Anthony scoring big with a whopping 2 1/2 inch Sea Bass!
We stayed a little later then expected and ended the day with 7 Fluke and 7 Sea Bass in the box. Total catch was
198 !!!
A beautiful day on the water with a lot of laughs and ball busting. Good time had by all!!!
By the way - if we were using last years regulations - Capt. Anthony would still be filleting fluke!
