Anyone every install their own trim tabs. Is it super complicated/difficult.

AH, I am about to do it (well, my buddy from work and maybe Duffman will help too) in the spring.
Bennet M120 Sport Tabs.
Going to mount the Hydraulic unit in my center console (Bennet sent me extra long lines).
People who I ahev spoken to says it is not bad at all if any mechanical ability (which I do not posses).
Duffman did his as we spoke on it a few weeks ago, so I am sure he can chime in.
Every boat needs them as far as I am concerned.
What boat and tabs are you thinking of going with?
Benet has a video on their site (as well as the instructiopns on how to install).
I was going to pay my marina, but they want 5-6 hours @ $110/hr to do it and Benet told me I should be able to do them with a friend in 3-3.5 hours, so that is what I am going to do.
Yes, Duff, plenty of beer (Miller lite I believe my boy drinks-bottles), so will get us a case or 2 for the install and take home :)

I am looking to bang out everything in the same weekend (compund/wax), install tabs, etc :)

Very straight forward install. It will take you time to complete, but nothing is over the top difficult.
Only issue I had to deal with was cutting the square hole for the rocker switches. I had to deal with 3/4" glassed over ply that made it a little tough to cut the hole -nothing a dremel couldnt handle.
The tabs should come with an install video. Watch it a few times and plan out the install at home. Once you get started it'll be done in a half day.

Looks like it will be you, me, my boy from work, Ed (have every tool in the book and then some) Young Gull and Luna Sea that day to get'er done (with a few other minor things).
Guess I will need 3 cases of Miller light bottles :)
Shooting for 2nd-3rd weekend April weather permitting.

Thanks. I going with the Bennent M120 Sport tabs also. Sounds like beer and friends are an essential part of the process. Going attempt mine in late Feb or Early March.

LMK when ready to purchase them. Cheapest price I found delivered was about $425.
