Hello everyone
« on: January 01, 2013, 02:00:25 PM »
Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums and just getting into saltwater fishing. I just purchased a bayliner trophy 2352 and am looking for a good spot to keep it. It did not come with a trailer so I'm looking for a marina where I can keep it all year long.  I live in north jersey so will only be using it on the weekends. I'm open to any suggestions whatsoever
Thanks, mike

I have a trophy as well. I keep mine at the manasquan river club in Brick. It's an easy ride to the inlet. When looking for a slip cash is king. Don't feel like you can't negotiate.

wa From north jersey here also. When I had my boat, kept it near Sandy Hook. Good fishing and not to bad a ride from home.

How far north? If there ready for the upcoming season viking in amboy or there are several in keyport, they may soot your needs for a close drive and easy access to fishing.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Keyport Marinas are about an hour from you in Sparta. I fish the Raritan bay down to Long Branch.

I like the Thirsty Moose up in Sparta.. chrz

Lentze Marina in keansburg is a great place. My dad has been there over 10 years in dry rack storage. Floating docks there too. Very close to great fishing grounds all year and not too far down Rt 36.

Raritan bay is a good choice, faster to get to, less expensive and the bay is a great fishery. I kept mine in Sayreville. You will find them in a google search. Good luck and welcome!
