Today we ran deep taking a long ride. Had very confused seas most of the morning and a bumpy ride. Fished the hard stuff and were rewarded right from the get go on the first drift boxing 8 keepers. Ran back and boxed another 6 on the 2nd drift. By 9 a.m. the tide turned and wind against which slowed us up but we kept picking nice fish boxing our boat limit by 11 a.m. up to 6.5 lbs.
Took a ride to a sea bass spot on the way home but only a couple small ones and a couple more nice fluke.
I fished strips all day against the spearing and gulp guys and got the big fish today and the strips put their share of keepers on ice today!
