Missed Hallie yesterday due to work, but Tombo has to toil also. HMMMMM, sunset before 8 won't stop us from a few driftys. Catch you next time Ed, and thanks for the invite!
We arrive on the grounds 6-ish and look who it is- Hallie and crew, shortin' it up. Fishin' on the bow, fishin' in the cockpit, surprised you weren't fishin on the tower... Betcha din't recognize me on the Tombo stealth-mobile. Nice to see you out there Genniminz.
Based on Eddie, ScottG, and Jersey Joe's RB report, we move outside and drift the SH channel edges. Tombo's secret bait nails 6 fluke on the first drift, with us each going 3 for 3. Set up and repeat, but now the tide is rippin' out, so we repeat all but the catching. Move out a lil more, and to the other side of the channel, where I boat another 2 flatties. Magic hour, sunset, very nice out there.
Head back to clean up, 8 for 8, ranging from 16" to 17.75" . What else is new? Left the flukestruder on YSA so nothin' but short fluke tonight. Where did all the skates doggies and ROBBINS! go? Still a great night to be alive.
Thanks Tom!
