Title: 12ft penn torque with 15lb power pro on okuma baitrunner.. opinions?

I usually hit the jetty.. hard. This Year going to really get into the surf. what is your opinion on the 15lb test and the 12ft rod? overkill? I do really well on the jetty's, using a 10.6 rod with a okuma avenger bait runner with 20lb test. I just think in the surf the lighter the better

I have been using 20# test braid for years on the surf with either an 8' Tasumani or a 10' Tsunami both with Slammers on them or I also have a 11' Tsunami with a Penn conventional with 30# test braid.

Like I said I have been using these setups for quite a while not and the combo works for me.
