Title: WTB Penn 501L Jigmaster
Post by: Fisherman120 on February 14, 2016, 08:35:01 AM
Curious if anybody has a Penn Jigmaster 501L lying around, I believe this is the smallest version of Jigmasters. New or used let me know and please a picture, gonna match it with a nice old school rod I got for cheap at Hi-Mar yesterday.

The 501 is a narrow spool 500 Jigmaster.   The "L" means aluminum spool. Don't know if they ever made a 501L. Guess they could of or made someone made some after market parts.

I'm not sure if it's a conversion or any of that but they are around. Here's one on Ebay. Other Jigmasters won't fit the reel seat on this rod.
