Thanks for the web links. I had some of the information but, not all of it. It will definitly come in handy.

In your experiences how long do the cod hang around at these reef sites and how late in the year does the weather hold out? As a novice offshore boat operator weather is my bigges concern.

To be honest with you fellinger, Sunday was the first cod trip I did on my boat. I fished for them one time on a party boat and that is the extent of my expertize on cod.

So, knowing that, it seems that cod must be easy to catch as long as you are in the right spot.  ;D

Yes make sure u watch/listen to the weather it will/can change in a matter of minutes...
Why does it Matter to you? cause I could careless.........
