Title: Porgies Porgies Porgies - All day
Post by: Mike Sea Hawk on July 14, 2010, 07:31:45 PM
Porgies porgies porgies all day every Wednesday!

We will be sailing for porgies and seabass on Wednesdays starting July 21st.

We will be leaving the dock at 7:30 and returning approximately 3:30pm.

Pound for pound a very good fighting fish and great table fare. A great fish to turn the young ones on to fishing with as they are often easy to catch and usually plentiful. Simple hi-lo rigs baited with clam, sandworms, or squid.

Seabass and blackfish(1 fish limit starting the 16th) will also be in the area and may make specific seabass drops depending on conditions of the day.

Last couple of seasons the porgies have been of very good size. Certain times and drops we make you will be able to catch a multitude of species from the porgies, sea bass, blackish, to triggerfish, ling, cod, and maybe even a fluke.
